ALICIA E. ELLIOTT, born Iowa City, Iowa, June 4, 1982.
Education: Third-year law student at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University. Expects to graduate May, 2008 and sit for the Arizona Bar Exam July, 2008.
Member: Women's Law Student Association; Law Student Division of the American Bar Association.
Awards & Acknowledgements/Recognitions: Pedrick Scholar each semester in law school; Cali Award (Federal Income Tax course); ranked in the top fifteen percentile of her class.
Other Interests: Volunteer for Arizona Attorney General's Satellite Outreach program; Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program.
Future Plans: Alicia has accepted a position as attorney under the Office of Chief Counsel's Honor Program, Treasury Department, Internal Revenue Service, to begin October, 2008. Under the Honors Program, generally only one law student from a school is selected, and the positions are open to individuals who have superior academic qualifications or relevant experience to the work done by Chief Counsel.
